Nevermind all that stuff others have said I own a 2000 monte and with factory parts I did 135mph. With bosche spark plugs and custom pistons and a custom supercharger with nos I Clocked 173 in the joliet speedway's free run day. I did'nt do 0-60 but it might be about 4.2 sec my custom dual racing transmission gets put in next week so I'll update if this question is still up

you can upgrade your ecu chip, replace the stock exhausts with some flow masters, get a k&nn air intake so it can breath better heres the link for your intake

you would need to see if the computer chip that regulates engine rpm and speed can be changed for something with more get up and go.
