I'm sure that the coil is very expensive, and a code P0303 indicates that the number three cylinder is misfiring, but it can be fuel, mechanical, ignition or computer control. I strongly recommend evaluating the problems first before throwing multiple hundred dollar parts at it. A faulty fuel injector, computer driver, ignition module, ignition coil, cracked spark plug electrode, clogged fuel injector, broken ignition wire, etc., can all cause this code. It is not a specific ignition code, it just says that all of the elements to fire the cylinder are not there. This could be fire, air/fuel, squeeze or time. With this general of a code, anybody would just be guessing, so I strongly recommend paying to have it diagnosed. It will probably be cheaper than buying parts that you don't need.
