How often do you pick up found pennies and pass them along for good luck?

I use to never pick them up until I read this really cool story about them. It was about a very wealthy man who stopped and picked up a penny and stood there with a smile on his face. When questioned about why he bothered, he answered that on every penny it says "In God we Trust" .
Anyway, I forgot the rest of the story, but I always pick up pennies when I see them now.

I never pick them up, I think about all the germs on the ground, but when I leave a store, and I have gotten pennies back in change, I like to leave them in funny places for people to find. Last week, I had 3 pennies, and did not see a good ledge, or bench to put them on, so I just threw them over my shoulder, and A nice lady came running after me,(she had picked up the pennies, and was trying to return them to me), when I explained, that I just like to leave them for people to find, she laughed, and threw them up into the air, to land anywhere. If you live in the midwest, maybe you will find one of them!

Always but I put them in a jar and see how many I have at the end of the year. It's kinda a hobby.

I don't pass them along. I put them in my kids saving account. They have over 300.00 in pennies.. They add up!
