if you are into online gaming i would suggest Battlefield 2, or something similar (there are a few newer games of the same style) but it's very addictive ad fun.
other wise if you want something to just pass the time and stay interesting for a while, i suggest RISK 2, its a huge step up from the original risk.

I enjoy halo, but whatever u do, do not get warcraft! I know a lot of people who have turned into warcraft robots and thats what they do all day. I personally have had agame like that and it is very addicting. Stay away from RPG games.
