Okay well I started wearing makeup when I was in fifth grade, so I think that 13 is definitely old enough. You are almost into high school and most girls in high school wear makeup. But before you decide to start, make sure that you go to a makeup counter and get some advice on how to apply makeup. Also invest in high quality makeup. The easiest way to acheive trashy looks is to incorrectly apply cheap makeup. Most mac counters offer a program where you can get a makeover and they will teach you how to do your makeup for 30 dollars which then goes towards your purchase of products. Good luck! I hope you get some makeup for your birthday... it can be a lot of fun!

I think that 13 is old enough to wear makeup as long as you don't wear too much. Try to make it look as natural as possible so you don't look like a slut.

Yeah, i began wearing makeup while i replaced into in eigth grade(13). i do no longer likely see a undertaking once you're wearing makeup at 14. merely make useful it is not too plenty. maybe a organic colour of eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss.

I started wearing it when I was 11 or 12. But don't start wearing it until you can because after you start putting it on you have to put it on everyday cuz you get hooked to it!! lOlz.... I won't even go get the mail without make-up on and i'm only 14. But if guys like you without it then why start? I only wear it cuz I have small lips and eyelashes and make-up makes them appear fuller, and I have a lot of freckles. But whenever you feel ready to put it on you can. But you have to practice to make it right, I looked like a clown when I first starting wearing make-up. You should also look out for Celeb Magazines with fashoin tips- they have awesome tips that makes your make-up look like a Celebs at a very cheap price$!! I hope this helped!!

I don't think it has to do with age as much as it does maturity. If you do start just remember that it can cause skin problems like acne, blackheads, etc... so try to go light. You may also want to go some where and have a professional show you how to apply it. That way you do not put on to much and ruin your skin.
PS: I would not learn from your friends they will either have you looking cheap or like a clown.
