Why does my new adopted cat insist on drinking water from the faucet rather than a bowl? Its driving me nuts!

I have seven cats - all different personalities and whatnot, but this new adoptee - he won't drink from a bowl - it has to be a running faucet. He's been both and indoor and outdoor cat - none of my others exhibit this behaviour.

I've heard that some cats equate running water with pure water. Still water can be nasty.

They make recycling cat water dishes. Maybe you could get one.

My cat was the same way. I bought one of the pet fountains at PetSmart.
