should euthanasia be done to the very ill patient in his end state, if members of immediate family ask for it?

very BIG NO. God alone is the author of life and he alone gives us life. we are just beneficiaries of this love of GOD.therefore we have no right to take away one's life even for the gravest reason. for "the end does not justify the means." killing is an immoral act and a moral sin.killing here is the "means" and the "end" is to shorten nthe agony that a person is undergiong.

I passionatly agree with euthanasia. It is not for anyone else to decide wether or not someone should die with dignity or live in horror esp if they have not lived in that persons body or through their pain.

Yes, without a doubt. Allow a person to have some dignity in their death. It's retarded to keep a vegetable on life-support for two decades.

It depends - has the ill patient let his/her wishes to their family be known? Do they have any strong religious values one way or another?
