Will 5/16th warp or is that okay? Do I need ones that are 3/8inch or more?

i own a repair shop,and i have a set on a 350 right now that are 5/16 and they do alright ,they haven't warped yet, i like the 3/8 better though but i got a good deal on these,and there doing fine so far,so id say yours should be alright,i got big heads on mine also,and it does real good ,good luck with it,i hope this helps.

I believe that the 5/16 will warp easier then the 3/8 but both will work. however a few years down the road you might find yourself replacing the 5/16 headers

Whatever you decide get a set of copper header gaskets. They are well worth the $. I went through several gaskets on my truck until I got a set. They are reusable, and the best part. I've had them for 8 years with no blow out.
