Following on from my question yesterday (paragragh below), and thank you for all the responses, my brown spotting has increased significantly and it stings to wee. Took another test this morning and still negative. Anyone have similar symptoms? Thanks again
Hello all, this is my first time asking a question.... I'm currently 8 days late for my period, I'm nauseous, extrememly light-headed and dizzy. My basal body temperature has risen by 0.5 degree, but all preg tests come back negative. I rang my doc yesterday and he told me it may not show positive for another week or 2. My husband and I have only been trying for 1 month and unfortunately I had a still-born baby last time, so I'm completely paranoid with what is happening to me and I just want to know if I'm pregnant or not. Does anyone experience the same symptoms and getting negative results? When did you get a positive result? Oh and today I've been experiencing brown spotting, what does that mean??? Thanks!! MD

You really should see dr for the pain in urination-that's NOT a sign of pregnancy. It could be a bad kidney infection. I had a horrible one where I had all of those symptoms, I was vomiting, light headed, dizzy, I had a fever, chills... it was the infection.
Ask them to do a pregnancy blood test while you're there.

I am also a week late and have some of the same symptoms as you with a negative test. I dont have spotting or stinging but when I was pregnant with my twins I had spotting at the time my period was due. I think tomorrow I am going to try a EPT test which is supposed to be the most accurate. I know exactly how you feel the waiting is killing me!

I have always heard that brown spotting is old blood... so not a period starting. That it is usually a sign of pregnancy unless red blood starts. I know for me I took several pregnancy tests (I am a little impatient) and I didn't actually get a positive until 2 days after I was supposed to start, but remember you can have off cycles, we all do. So maybe this cycle was longer than normal. Although if you were charting (which since you mentioned your BBT, I would assume that you did), you should have a good idea of when your Luteal phase started and should have ended.

Go to a doctor now! I'm not exactly sure that brown spotting is good!
