"Mom I would like to buy some clothes from Hollister and Ambercrombie. I realize that these stores are a little on the high end and more than what you would like to spend on clothes for me. Please don't feel that I am just trying to fit in with what the other kids are wearing or that their opinion matters to me. I personally like the style of clothing that these stores have and I'm sure you would appreciate the quality given that they can be a bit more expensive. These stores tend to have good sales and one can really get more for their dollar. If you'd like I can pick up some extra work around the house as I don't want you to feel that I am just asking you this without giving any thought as to what I could do to earn this. Hollister and Ambercrombie are made by the same designer and I like the designers style and quality. Please think about it mom. You're opinion and feedback is importantt to me"

P.S. it's aMbercrombie NOT aBercrombie :)

let her know its in style and the quality of the clothes is better than other stores. for example " mom, other stores may be cheap, but hollister and abercrombie arent that much more expensive and they will last like 3 times as long so i dont need new clothes all the time, and in the long run, its a lot cheaper for you. you get what you pay for, dont you agree?" it will work.!!

Just ask to go to the mall and when you get there your mom will most likely ask you what store you want to go to.Just ask her if you could look around in one of the stores.Say that one of your friends just got a really cool shirt from there or somehting. If i were you i would start with aeropostale,i think they are probably the cheapest compared to the others.Remember that places like aberecrombie are very expensive though!

just tell her straight up, i.e: "mom, abercrombie and hollister both offer very nice, attractive, high quality clothes, and if you think the price is too much then u can always get stuff on sale. there's nothing wrong with these stores, they have perfectly acceptable clothes! "
that is the closest to 'mom talk' that i can get!
lol, g. l.!

Tell her that you just want to look... hopefully she wouldn't mind? If her problem is the expensive prices then run her to the back rooms where we have clearence prices (down to $12.95) If she doesn't like the "worn out" look of the clothes then look at the t-shirts or standard polos. Also, all the jeans come in both "destroyed" or normal.

you can say, "ive seen some of their clothes and i like them so can we go check them out next time?" if your parents dont approve of hollister and abercrombie and you still want to wear them, just try to go to the mall with friends.

Well go to the mall one day & pass by Hollister.
And just be like "Oh this looks good!" "Let's check it out Mom!" Your mom will have to come with you & just be like "Don't you like it?" And your mom will get the hint.

i have a similar situation so i would suggest you sit down with your mom or write her a letter saying that you're growing up and you're having new interests so she should try looking for clothes in hollister, etc.
it works. be nice though!
