Theres no remedy to calm it. Practice doesnt make perfect but it sure will help. Go in there knowing what you want to say. Your a business offer to them. They can make money off of you but you have to advertise yourself correctlly. By having a gameplan, you should be able to calm yourself a little knowing that you are an asset to them and you are just as important to them as they are to you. other than that though... mary j should help calm you... if thats your style.. haha jk

Three ways, look up Ashtanga Breathing on the net, and practice on the way to the interview, you can even do it in the interview if the manager is loud talker.
Second, lean back, rest your elbows on the chair arms and casually bring your hands in front of you (close to your chest) and bounce your finger tips together and take a slow deep breath through your nose, almost like you are praying, it will help you gather your thoughts. Creates a positive body language to the person interviewing you.
Last, admit you are "sorta nervous" to the interviewer when you get there. Just say, "wow, I am so excited to be here that I actually got nervous on the way". Sometimes just by giving yourself permission to be nervous, it will lessen your nerves.

Go in prepared--research the company and have a friend go over mock interview questions a couple of days ahead of time. Be sure to make a list of about 3 questions you would like to ask the interviewer.
Drive by the company the day before to ensure that you can find it and see how long it takes to get there. Pick up any groceries you will need for your breakfast tomorrow.
Get a good night's sleep the night before the interview.
Get up early the day of the interview. If you are able, do a short physical workout--don't overdo it and tire yourself out!--eat a healthy breakfast, and try to arrive about 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment. Don't forget to bring a copy of your resume.

i just recetently when to an interview for a teaching position at a school. i was interviewed by two older ladies and they were squarly looking at me.....they were sitting right in front of me asking me questions
i actually came through unscathed and un worried, not to mention i ended up getting the job
basically go into the interview without too much expectation pinned on GETTING the job. go back with that laid back attitude and dont think u HAVE to get the job, cause ur just goin to add more stress upon yourself.
breaking down some tension with some laughs helped too. made me more laid back and calmer knowing they have a sense of humour!!!
lastly, dont orget to breath. i had to answre a lot of questions on classroom management and it helped that i took my breaths. had i not, id blurt out my information way too quick.
they want to know about you. impress them with your calmness coolness. show them you can handle the intimidation that they pose. break it down to the 3 categories i mentioned and in no time interviews will feel second nature to u....good luck

stop thinking about it as an interview. think of it as a casual meeting or a date or something.
