What do you think of when you hear the words "hate" or "hatred"?

Instantly I think of the color red. "Red" is usually a sign of heat, or conflict. I think it could be for the fact that "hatred" has the word RED in it. It also puts a bad taste in my mouth, like rotten eggs or sulfur. Seeing the words "hate" or "hatred" evokes a feeling of a person who is unenlightened or ignorant.
