I'm sorry I spelt Gourmas wrong I'm not sure how to spell it.This is about fish though.

There are about 12 different species of gourami. here's a link to a age that can start you off and it has more links to other articles i the bottom. Try to find yours by the pictures and that page will probably answer all your questions.

gourami, there are dwarfs, and there are reg gouramis, their is even a giant gourami, and one of the most widely known gourami the "pink kissing " Gourami is not actually a gourami at all. If i were you i would find out which type you have or are interested in by search website like Fishprofiles.com. Use the latin name for the fish to do more indepth searches on the internet. Ex. pink kissing gourami is actually the latin name.Helostoma temminckii. There are a lot of Common names for fish that will change from petstore to petstore and from one side of the US to the other, knowing the latin names will help you to narrow down the searchs. gold gour, blue, opaline,snakeskin,pearl,giant,honey,blue paradise,ect... dwarf gouramis- redfire, powder blue, ect..

What do you need to know. They can be agggressive they are part of the labrynth family. some are tiny and some are quite large.....
