Actually that article was crap..I seen all the match ups and it was voted on by fans that wouldn't know who would win in a fight to save there life. There is no way in hell that Spidey could beat the Silver Surfer or Thor for that matter. Spidey is good but The Surfer would destroy him !!!!
Magneto would win that fight by the way. That whole thing was done by UK fans...they are messed up if they think Spidey can beat Silver Surfer.... Surfer wouldn't break a sweat against Spider-Man !!!!

Spiderman, It's comic book fact that the only thing which can kill a superhero isn't a supervillian, but a fluke. Just look at Captain America.. A sniper bullet, yeah right.

First there is no iron or metal in spiderman's body, and second spiderman can sense dangers before they happened, so most likely I'll go for spiderman.
