jointly as the alternator is new, that's greater effective than in all probability a rebuilt section. Any gadget can fail perfect out of the container. Your battery may well be defective and you may desire to have it load examined. maximum aspects shops will try this at no value. If the battery and alternator verify ok, the the only different possibility is which you have a parasitic draw, a circuit or component is drawing contemporary while the base line is off. positioned an amp meter between the useful batt. positioned up and the useful cable. in case you study greater effective than a million or 2 Milli-amps, like 7-10 ma you have a parasitic draw. do away with one fuse at a time and while the draw drops, that's the circuit that has undertaking. Reinstall the fuse and then isolate/unplug each and each component on that circuit one after the different until the draw is going away. That component often is the concern. ok?

There could be any number of parasitic draws. From experience I've seen a diode go bad on an alternator and ignition switches cause that symptom.

Check the terminals on the battery and see if they are corroded. The wires should be connected tightly or you will get that green corrosion. The wires also may be shorting out......get a electrical wire tester and check for continuity.

if the battery is good it has to be a bad alternator, I have seen brand new ones be bad right out of the box, take the car to autozone and have them check your charging system, it's free.

possibly a small drain on it even when the ignition and everything else appear to be off........just take off one of your battery cables and hook a test light to it.........then put the test light on your battery post and see if the light comes on all bright and shiny.....if it does....you have a constant drain........if thats the case you should have someone either hold the test light.....OR......start pulling fuses one by one......pull it out and if the light goes off....thats the circuit thats draining your battery.....be sure to put your fuses back in after you check it.......hope its something easy...!!!

Hopefully its still under warranty & you still have the reciept, take it back to the manufacturer, explain the issue and see if they will do an exchange
