Ok I don't know what you would define as an AWESOME game, but I have taken a HUGE liking to this game called GUNBOUND. I don't know if you're old enough to know about/remember the old game called SCORCH... where you have a little tank... and you have to calculate the wind, as well as the weight of your ammo, and different types of ammo, to shoot and blow up the other tanks... it's just like that but more modern. It's very addicting. Haha. There's screenshots of it on http://www.ijji.com Free to sign up and you can play with everyone in the world who is also playing online. Made some great friends on there.
That website http://www.ijji.com also has PLENTY of other multiplayer games on their site that you can see screenshots for and it tells you basically what the game is about and sorts each game by type (RPG, guns, single/multiplayer, etc.) and it's all free. You can opt to PURCHASE "ijji coins" for some of the games if you want to "buy" the avatar they offer, but with Gunbound you just accrue points based on how many games you play, whether or not your team wins (you can play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4) and you get points for high angle shots and blasts. It's really funy.
Anyway it depends on what type of game you're really interested in. Check out that site though! Lots of good fun games on there!

Perfect Dark Zero for Xbox, Guild wars an amazing epic on PC, and Halo, and Call of duty 3, and pool.

Yea download steam and play counter strike source and counter-terrorist vs terrorist game with different senarios day of defeat source a ww2 game or get world of warcraft.

try Knight Online. its cool i play sometiems. Download takes 2 hours tho. its as good as World of Warcraft so if u like those type of games take this
