My wife wants a cheap second hand Nokia with no bells and whistles but a large display and buttons. Any ideas. Thanks.

The one I purchased for my father as he has glaucoma and arthritis is a 6610 key pad is nicely paced with large square buttons.
As with nearly all Nokia's, the case is interchangeable, so look out for one with larger numbers printed on it.

Another tip, go to
Menu> Messages> Message Settings> Display/Other> and there select 'large font', this will make all text on the screen appear at double the size.

Hope this helps a little.

you want the Nokia 1600 - it is specially designed with a Large display and you can change the Font Sizes to large

In addition the Keypad is designed to be full proof.

The best bit about it is the price - you can pick it up for under £30 brand new

Hope this helps

There are many budget nokia handsets around that you could buy new for between £20- £50. For example the Nokia 2610 on Orange is £34.99+£10 topup =£44.99. It doesnt have a camera, bluetooth,or a music player.

6101? It`s a flip phone. Decent size font and buttons for a mobile. Quite a robust phone as well.
