Put 4.3. They get copies of your high school transcript anyway.

You can have higher than a 4.0 GPA without taking honors classes too. When they ask, simply tell them that you have a 4.3. Maybe you're over thinking this but I think that they mean 4.0 scale GPA as compared to other, less popular ways of mesuring grade point averages

You need to give it on the unweighted scale
Your school should have that on your transcript

Calculate it this way
Your As count as 4
Bs = 3
Cs = 2
Ds = 1

Add up all your grades and scores and divide by number of classes you took

You cant have more than 4.0 on an unweighted scale. Because some school dont offer honors classes, colleges want the unweighted score to compare you. They will see that your classes were honors when you apply so even if you gpa is lower unweighted (which it will be) youll be good

4.0..

isn't is SO annoying when colleges ask for it on a 4.0 scale?!
I have a similar GPA because of honors/AP classes, and it's aggravating that they don't care haha..

good luck! :]

If 4.3 is an option, say so. Otherwise, say 4.0.
