To regulate the temperature of our testicles. Testicles are outside the body because they need to be at a slightly lower temperature than the rest of the body. When cold, they shrivel up because it's warmer closer to the body (too cold is also bad). And when it is hot, they hang away from the body.

It's to protect them from freezing off. As you notice, balls have a bit more hair on them than other extremities. They need to be kept above arctic temperatures or hypothermia sits in and they break off. They also must be slightly above human body temperature for optimal sperm count. This is why it is suggested to wear loose fitting boxers or simply freeball when trying to concieve a child.

But yes, balls shrink up inside you like a scared turtle so that they don't freeze off. Ever notice how much it friggin HURTS when you stretch your scrotum when their ascended? OUCH! Your scrotum actually contracts itself denser and wrinkled up on itself to achieve this, and those tiny scrotal muscles must relax for them to descend. For optimal ball relaxation, I suggest a half cup of mollasses at approximately 82 degrees farenheit.

Judging by your grammar I'd say that the evolutionary forces would call it a good idea to allow your balls to go ahead and boil away any of your DNA in a nice hot shower!

Reduction of blood supply to the testicles and suspensor muscles that hold them cause them to contract to conserve heat. The contraction causes them to pull the testicles higher within the scrotal sac. The testicles themselves don't change size, they just don't dangle quite as low and everything just feels smaller. The whole response is simply to maintain the optimum heat level for sperm production. When you get hot, they dangle lower away from the body to give off heat, and when you get chilled they contract to take advantage of interior body heat to stay warm.

The testicals or balls shrink when we get cold becuse they need the heat from our bodies so they shrink closer to the heat to be warmer and on hot days they hang out low because if your balls get to warm they cant produce sperm.

To keep the testis as close to the human body (the source of heat) as possible. Too cold and you could become sterile. Same when it's too hot, so they hang low. It's just your body's way of lookin out for the little guys.

It is body's natural mechanism.Actually what shrinks is the bag (scrotum). Body does this to adjust the temperate. When it is cold to keep the balls warm they shirks. Opposite happens when it is warm or hot.

When you get cold, your testicles try to maintain a very constant temperature to maintiain the production of sperm, so they bring themselves closer to the body to keep warm, they "fall down" or sag when they get warm to cool off and maintain there temp.

Ha. Actually the cold air shrinks the air in the balls and "condenses " it. As it warms up, the atoms "bounce around" more and it becomes bigger and boucy-er. In lamons terms you pervert.
