I have a small 6 gallon Coleman Air Compressor, recently when I plug it in to run it, it just makes a buzzing sound and thats it. I dont know what the hell the problem is if anyone can help that would be great!

If it's the oil-less type, it is probably siezed. See if you can spin the motor shaft manually. It will probaly at least rquire disassembly, and most likely it is a dead duck!

If you hear a grinding sound it's probably a worn gear. If the warrenty is still good maybe you should send it back.

It may the capacitor start circuit. Make sure it's not locked up first .
