Because they can afford to have affairs and pay for divorces and expensive weddings. The rest of us schmucks are too poor to chase off after other women or men and we're financially stuck with our spouses and dull lives. The reality is that the less money people have, the more time they spend at home (as opposed to traveling, clandestine meetings, etc.) and the fewer affairs they have. The wealthy can afford to chase their fantasies, which they often do, and then they find out their fantasies have made a mess of things.

Not all rich people are unhappy. But some of the ones who actually earned their wealth had to sacrifice some of the important things in life like friends and family to get where they are.

People say "Money can't buy happiness," but happiness is what u make it. Money would make me buy things that make me happy and so i will be happy. these rich folks are lonely and have their lives in the public eye and are just unhappy. Happiness is what u make it. I never refuse happiness so i am always happy. think a bout it. To me, money can sure as hell make me happy. Also, dont generalize because a lucky few people dont know are happy. The ones that are not happy had to step on people on their way to the top and lost dear friends, lovers, and family members. The same people you step on on ur way to the top, u meet on ur way down.

I don't know that *all* famous/rich people are unhappy. I think that probably some of the ones who are thought that money would buy some sort of peace of mind or happiness, and unfortuantely, that's not usually true.

I think they're happy just I think it'd be a lot of work to be rich.

You constantly have to make sure you're spending properly and investing properly, plus keeping tight tabs on your businesses and such.

I think being rich could get pretty stressful!! After all money isn't everything!

I hope to be well off but not rich. I just want to be able to travel and have things I want and need and same for my children.
