If mirrors need light to work, what happens if you put night vision goggles on in the dark and look at a mirror?

It'd have to be an absolutely dark room with no light whatsoever, in which case there would be no light for the night vision goggles to amplify. Therefore you would not see anything.

in order to b a mirror it must have a special glaze painted on back to make it reflective with night vision goggles u will still see a mirrored reflection
