I am currently in a well paying job that is tolerable, but hardly fulfilling. Basically a paycheck. I'm thinking of going back to school to become a nurse. I already have a bachelor's degree, so it would only be about a year and a half of school, but I would have to go full time. Part time would not be an option. I also have a 10 month old daughter to support. I have the financial resources I need to do this and a supportive spouse, but wonder if I should really be using it to get another degree when I already have one and I have a decent job. Opinions?

Follow your heart and show your daughter that your dreams can always be accomplished. She may not remember you going to school, but it would be awful if she saw you not fulfilled in your work as she get's older.

Make sure that you really want to be a nurse. Maybe you can volunteer at a hospital or ask people in the nursing profession their thoughts. It is difficult to get a good paying job that you can tolerate. Do not rush into a decision.

Try changing departments or find a similar job elsewhere that are challenging and "fulfilling".

Go back to school if you wish. There is nothing wrong with going part time. Check out different schools with a flexible schedule.

You need to do what makes you happy in life, because if you don't you will make your life and the lives around you unhappy. What is wrong with having 2 different degrees? Absolutely nothing. Good luck!
