she writes some. and co-writes some also. but a lot is written by professional writers also.

Christina not only has talent she IS talent!!! being able to use her vocals amazingly at a very early age is by far outstanding for a little girl! she is the only artist in the last decade that sings, produces, writes, and performes her songs! christina not only sings what she writes she writes songs with meaning! she writes about her past, her love, her marriage. most of her songs actually have points to them apposed to most artists these days. both her stripped and back to basics(which is the best album our society has seen in a LONG time!) she wrote some pretty deep lyrics which maybe not to all but to people who know what talent is and can point it out...

Christina writes, or co-writes, many of her songs. Her songwriting partner is usually producer/songwriter Linda Perry, who was in 90's band Four Non-Blondes ("What's Up". Perry has also worked with Pink and Courtney Love, among others.

Yes, she co-writes many of her songs. She decided to after her debut album was completely written by others. It's that creative control that drove her to begin writing her own songs. She's even co-directed her past 2 videos "Hurt" and "Candyman".

She writes a lot of her own songs, at least I know on her "Stripped" Album I believe she wrote every song..^_^
But like "Hurt" she didn't write. Towards her earlier career she didn't, but she does write a lot of them now

it depends. if u buy the cd and u look in the credits under every song, itll tell u who wrote it. britney didnt really start contributing to her songs until her 4th album IN THE ZONE. christina started in her STRIPPED album. she writes little poems and journal entries and turns them into songs.

Not really, she "co-writes" them, which basically means she comes up with a few unpolished ideas and professional songwriters with do the rest of the dirty work for her.
Ha....i mean paris hilton also "co-writes" her songs...what a joke.
