I got a file from someone, but I don't have an Ipod or itunes (I have an RCA mp3 player). Is there any software that can convert it?

well acc and mp4 are different. If its m4p the ONLY way is to download hotrecorder and that will change it to mp3. Withh acc you can use xilisoft audio converter from download.com and use that to convert it to mp3

best to back up first. that's what I did with my 30 GB series: I copied their folders (i..e back up) to a exterior stress. Then used a organizer like media monkey to honestly style/filter out/encode - convert, and so on, the MP3's on the back up series. Then made mp3 disc's, as yet another back up of the back up series. Media monkey is sensible for a really tremendous series... later on, I deleted the MP3's from my computer, then my exterior stress. Then used disclib to make a library (so can seek for) number of the MP3's on my discs - that were all labeled a million to 33. Then replaced into straightforward to understand what MP3's were on what disc. Then repeated for yet another set of discs...(used sturdy high quality discs)
