Islam, Christianity and Catholicism all stem from early Judaic texts. Judaism and the Old Testament is point from which the monotheistic basis of all western religions was born.

A friend I once knew who was Jewish comes to my mind. I'm not Jewish, but she invited me to services at her synagogue. I went, and it was one of the most peaceful, loving gatherings I've ever experienced.
