A ray of light incident upon a mirror makes an angle of 34.6° with the mirror. What is the angle between the incident ray and the reflected ray?

A flat surface can be thought of as two right angles added together, so it subtends 180 degrees. The angle of incidence equals the angle of relflection, so the angle bewteen the two is 180 - (34.6+34.6) = 180 - 69.2 = 110.8 degrees.
