If you live in the U.S.A, have you ever had head lice? I just got really annoyed when some guy answered another person's question about head lice. He said it's only the English who have them, and it "never" happens in the States. So, be honest, did you ever catch them?

thats a joke. once when my daughter was in 4th grade, the school sent home half the kids in our neighborhood. its very common. a real pain to deal with though.

Yes, it happens all too often in the States. There is no shame in getting lice, the shame is in keeping them and spreading them.

Head lice are very common in America, even among black people. They are spread by contact from person to person so are very common in the elementary or grade schools.

It's common in my state. Just use mousse or gel or some kind of hair product on your kids. Lice prefer clean hair to hair with products in it.
