I submitted my resume thru a jobsite for a position that I am extremely interested in. The posting provided the Hiring Manager's name, address and email, however, I simply "applied" thru the jobsite.

I want to send the Hiring Manager a follow up email regarding my resume, and to display my strong interest in the position...but I don't know what to say...I am not very good with cover letters.

Any suggestions or sample cover letters of this kind that I can copy and reformat with my information?

Thanks in advance,
M

Write a letter and send a resume.
Costs 39 cents, but show some creativity.

Dear Mr. Jones,

I recently applied for your position of auditor on the Jobsearch web site.

I am extremey interested in this position, and I would appreciate the opportunity to talk to you about it. I hope to hear from you.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerly yours,

John P, Smith.

PS Here's a web site on the subject.
Good luck
