OK, my best friend in the whole world loves my bro, and she makes songs about him, and tells me, and she never called everyday until she told me she loves him! so everytime I answer the phone, shes like hey whats up, and Im like nothing u, and then the next thing she says is HOW"S your brother?? like what do I do, she named her fish after him, and she also talks about him contsantly and we were talking the other night on the phone and we were talking about our friendship since we were verrry little, and then she's like, let's talk about ur brother? and what do I say or do!!????!!! She writes songs, and is like obssessed with him! He has a girlfriend, and she even made me go up to him, and say hey, what do you think about Emily, and don't tell her I told you but she used to like you, how do u feel about that?? Honestly, and my bro is like another Brother to her, and she's like ur the only one who knows and I need to talk to you about this, but it gets very old what do I do? PLEASE HELP!

Do u think I'm being selfish, idk it's bothering me! ALOT! I feel like she's using me! and also my bro is 3 years older than her!

You should tell your friend how uncomfortable it makes you feel for her to be talking about your brother all the time, maybe she'll cool it a bit.

I think you should tell her how you feel and if she denyes it and you know that you guys are really best friends and you know that she wouldnt use you then believe her and maybes its true and once you tell her how you feel then maybe she will stop calling so much and the song thing i understand maybe thats another way of getting her feelings out because she doesnt want to tell you.Then the fish thing maybe thats because she really DOES LOVE HIM!I think you shouldnt be as hard on her though.Maybe its like her first real love.

if you really love your friend tell her to tell you bro. how she feels about him, if they hit it off then you should be happy about it, you see being a friend doesn't mean a person who is always there for you, you should always be there for your friend also..

AND IF THEY DIDN'T (w/c would probably happen) then your problem is solved,

no ur not being selfish. talk to her about how u don't want to talk about your brother so much. like change the subject when she brings it up. talk about the guy YOUR obsessed with. hope i helped a little bit
