I don't know how you can secretly marry someone if you're under 18--parental consent is required.

Honestly before even givivg an opinion we really need more info about the guy that you married! why keep it a secret? The question would be if you are keeping it a secret is because your parents and family do not approve of the relationship with this guy! I can't really help u I have to many questions that need answers but from the bottom of my heart I wish you the best!

assuming you live in the U.S....
alright, well the only way you are married is possibly if you have been legally emancipated. If that's the case, then it's your decision if you choose to tell them or not, I would personally. If you think they will be happy about having a new son in law and grandchild, go for it!
If you have not been legally emancipated,
there would be several reasons why you would need to tell your parents, taxes for example.
But those reasons don't matter because if you're only 16 then you are not married, you cannot get a legal marriage license without a parent's consent if you are under the age of 18, and without it it, you are not legally married.

I think you should tell your family so they dont think your just a young girl thats pregnant. I think they would probably rather hear you married the father other than a baby not having his/her two parents. But hopefully they dont get upset that you 2 were secretly married. Good luck with that and your littleone!

This is the first thing that popped into my head- for tax reasons you must tell your parents if they claim you as a dependent. For medical reasons during labor/delivery you must tell them if any medical emergency happens your HUSBAND decides what happens to you- not your parents. For government assistance (which I am not saying you are going to use but just in case- I am not implying anything negatively tward you) being married would affect your support and illegal if you kept it a secret from the government
Honey- come clean before you dig yourself into a bigger hole! You need support right now- not added stress.
Whatever you do- PLEASE stay in school and provide a future for your child. Do NOT depend on any man- no matter what he may tell you. An education is forever.

You secretly got married at 16? Wow.
If you REALLY did this, then definitely tell your families immediately.

It depends on if you want a baby shower or not. If you are planning on moving away to another country and disowning your family, then do not tell them. BUt if you plan on having a grandma and grandpa, better let the cat out of the bag!

So which state did you get married in because in most states nowadays under aged girls have to have a parent's signature in order to get married, pregnant or not. And if he wasn't 21 then he would have also needed his parent's consent.

if they already know that you are pregnant then why keep the marriage in secret! I did for a year (but I was not pregnant) and I regret it sooo much! I really wish that I could have shared this joy with my mom at least.
