Grilled they're very good. In spring we fish for freshwater sardines called smelts and they're great.

right this is two techniques: prepare the sardines "chinese language type". eliminate the sardines from the tin. place them in a shallow bowl. place sprigs of clean coriander (cilantro) and a few 2 inch desktops. of scallions (green onions) on precise of the sardines. On wait, in no way techniques the onions given which you are able to't consume them.Take a small frying pan and warmth up 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil or peanut oil to the factor the place it rather is purely particularly smoking. turn off the warmth. heavily spoon the nice and comfortable oil over the coriander to lead them to sizzle. Then, take some soy sauce and sprinkle it over the precise of the vegetables. consume this sardine dish with a bowl of warm rice. it rather is nice I promise. yet another thought is to desert the sardines altogether. upload some Vegemite or Marmite on your food regimen. this is a robust source of diet B.

I have eaten sardines. I like them just fine, not real often. I suppose they were pressure cooked inside the can.

I've had them grilled before and they were pretty good. But I like pretty much all sorts of fish.
