Of course I'm proud of being who I am! That's the least I can do for myself because no one else will do it for me!

Yes, I am proud of who I am it's not just about the color/ race that I am. But who I am I love everything about me and being black is well... a part of me, but I would love being white if I was white so its not the color its just about loving and being proud of me

I am a very proud black person because I know how I got here and I,m not in jail I don,t smoke crack I don,t drink I don,t beat my woman I don,t have kids by 10 different women I don,t smoke and I have good credit and I finished school and I Owen my Owen business when I think about my ancestors and what they went through for me to be here I have to be proud for them because I am living the dream that so many of them dreamed that they would be free some day I have to be proud AND NO MATTER WHAT ANY ONE HAS TO SAY ABOUT MY PEOPLE we are still here after every thing that is put up against us some of us may act the fool but that is a small number in war you are going to have casualties but you have to keep it moving white people don,t hate my blackness they hate my light black people you have to know where you been to know where your going God bless

Im proud. But its hard cause brothers act a fool sometimes (like the brother that beat up that old lady; I know that has nothing to do with me, but I know when some people look at me, they see that dude).
But I consider being Black a gift. And there is no greater manifestion of God's gifts to the Black man than the Black women (hallelujah!).
In a strange way, I feel my Blackness connects me to the universe in a way only a Black person can understand. You feel me?

yes I'm black and proud cause that is the way god made me and being black life is easy believe it r not cause like me I have been low on the pole and high on the pole and in the middle so no matter where you put me i can be flexible and make it no matter what

I'm black. That's it. I'm no better than white people, black people, asians, latinos or anyone else. They are no better than me. I'm proud to be who I am, because I am a good person. If that is all that is on my tombstone, I'm happy with that.
