does he like me? *should i go for him?

Question

this kid @ my high school has been talking to me a lot lately. we laff a lot & tells me stories & stuff. he & i were putting mentos in diet coke today & we had so much fun together. we made plans to do it again. we share food & drinks & stuff & sit by each other in class often.
i still dont know if he likes me or not. he talks to other girls & 1 of my girl friends especially, but he doesnt do as much with them as he does with me. even @ track practice, i was going to get a ride from the coach by myself & he wanted to come with me, he even sat in the back seat with me (but not right next to me).

i just want to know what everyone else thinks i should do. i was thinking of asking him out to the movies this weekend..should i? is it too soon? or would it be a good opportunity to start a relationship? i do like this guy kind of, & im just shy about what im going to do about it...thanks for advice ~*~*~*~*~

As a guy...albeit an old one...I say to drop a hint or two, but let him do the chasing and the asking. Right, guys? We still love the thrill of the hunt no matter how liberal and independent girls are. Makes us feel like *the man*. In my humble opnion...cuz you asked.

i think that he like you. if a guy is willing to pay attention to you, then its obvi that he has some interest! I think you should go for it, it wont hurt till you give it a try! good luck!

and if he does then just still act like hes your friend but dont be all over him because he probably doesnt like you in that way.
