I was wondering if it would be too over the top to wear my hair down but curled with a small tiara. The dress style that I'm hoping to be wearing to prom is the following:

The tiara that I like is small and simple and looks like the following:

I would really like some help on this since its my senior prom and its only 2 months away and nothing has been finalized yet. I have to buy the dress and decide on a final hairstyle still.

Wow, what a cute idea!

If I could do my prom again, I would definately do the tierra with curly hair. You only get to do your prom once (or if you're a junior, twice) so go glamerous and in style!

There are many girls who wear their hair up (which is custom in a formal setting) and add in a tierra to give it that special touch.

It's a great web site with resources to get you started in the right direction.

So enjoy your prom night because you're making memories that will last a lifetime!

Love the dress! I think that that would be approiate seeing as it's your senior prom, but go half up, half down and curled for a less over the top! Good luck and I'm sure what ever you go with, you'll look like a beautiful princess! It's your night!

if your prom is two months away don't freak out. go to an elagant store and pick a nice dress you think will work for you. and i don't think that if you curled your hair up and put a taira is to over the top. I think it's a good idea and it'll look pretty on you. but it's better to pick a dress to look right with your hair. Good Luck!

With a halter dress, I would put it all up. Those dresses are made to show off a woman's sexy neckline and ppl wont see it if your hair is down. But if that looks too princessy for you being pinned up, do the half up/half down but nice, big curls.

OH good lord, that would look awesome, when you said Tiara, I thought you meant like a real crown, but no, that one you have picked out would look sooo good, with that dress, you definitely need to go with that outfit, and with your hair down curly oooh, I'm already Jealous!

I think they would look gorgeous together because the tiara isn't too over the top and curls would definetly make it look good. hope you enjoy your prom

go all out for prom because once it's over it's over. If you want to dress like cinderella herself, do it.. the more dressed up we were at our prom the better.

Yes, it's very cute, not too sparkly or anything like that, it says "I shine and I know it" Lol or something like that. You can compliment the crown/dress with a cute earring/necklace set..
