The last member of a secret society dedicated to preserving the secret of the Holy Grail (the womb of Mary Magdelene) is killed but not before leaving clues so that his granddaughter who is "of the sangrael" ( or royal blood - descended from Jesus and Mary Magdelene and of the house of King David - the first of the Mergovian Kings) can learn and protect the secret of her ancestry while a wealthy and radical arm of the Catholic Church called Opus Dei tries to supress the information forever because they believe it would damage the faith of the Catholic people.

Wow! The fall of Christianity. The fact that part of the bibile could be lies. It had an extremely detailed plot.

There's very little plot, really. It's poorly written, over-sensationalized rubbish.
