I seriously doubt it. In this technological age, most people don't get their celebrity gossip through the printed media. Look how many people visit tmz.com everyday. Plus, there is the E network, which has many shows devoted to celebrity gossip. If this journalism wasn't popular, then the network would have folded long ago.

After all, look at the Anna Nicole Smith saga, even the major news networks carried that whole sordid affair. Even a couple of "reputable" reporters cited the celebrity gossip site tmz in the credits.

Sadly, I don't think that this type of reporting is going anywhere soon.

Most likely. It would probably show them that people don't care.....But, I highly doubt that would happen anyways. Personally, I couldn't really care less what celebrities are doing 24/7, but, tons of people love to read about it. Frankly ; I don't see why.....You don't see 34876437376434 people fussing over YOU going to the grocery store, do you ? They are normal people, doing normal things. I think the paparazzi should just stop anyway...no matter how many magazines are being sold.
