a true friend. I'm not saying that because its nice or anything but think about what's the point of having friends that SECRETLY hate you. They are just going to make your lives miserable.

A true friend, definitely.
If your friends secretly hate you, then theyre not friends. and although they are nice to your face, almost every word you say will be laughed about behind your back.
And theyll try to avoid you... so you wont have any friends... its better to have one than none.

Well in both senarios I would basically have no friends but at least in the first one I woudn't be alone...then again one true friend could make everything better. I'm not sure.

hmmm...true friend. cuz if u wait long enough the friends that hate you will eventually try and make everyoner else hate you, and u will have no friends.
