Changes nothing this is one rule in sports that can't changed .Gambling players or managers or both is unacceptable. As long as Joe Jackson and Rose are banned from baseball. They must not be in the Hall. Rose had to know if he was caugt that he would be banned.

Pete Rose came out and admitted it... finally. I honestly think he will be in the hall SOMEDAY. I don't think he will be alive when it happens though. Rose absolutly loved baseball which is why I think its wrong to ban him for life. So he gambles... so what. It's his life let him lose his own money. If you think what he did was horrible then make sure you DO NOT fill out your NCAA brackets for money. You don't want to be like Pete Rose do you? And the Shoeless Joe Jackson comment... why does he get in if Rose gets in? Can you even but them in the same category???? Shoeless Joe had 1772 hits in 13 seasons. Pete Rose had 4256 in 24 seasons. Don't see how Shoeless Joe Jackson would get in without the lifetime ban. This is just my opinion and I really hope that I get to see the day Rose gets in the Hall.

He is still a lying, cheating, greedy individual. Just because time has passed doesn't change that. If Shoeless Joe Jackson isn't in the Hall of Fame, Rose should never go in either. And I AM from Ohio, so don't try to say "You just don't like him because he beat your team...." or anything like that. He screws people in fees for autographs, admits lying and betting on baseball. The "I'm Sorry I Bet On Baseball" signed balls he was selling were just further proof of how pathetic an individual he truly is.

This information was revealed by Rose to the public months if not years ago. It changes nothing. Rose should be in the hall of fame. When he was a player they had no evidence of him betting.

I think that the people want him in the hall, so do the players. Bud Selig has no right to make such decisions. BASESBALL IS AMERICAS GAME!!! If we want pete in the hall, he should be
