its a automatic "geartronic" transmision

its only from 1st gear to 2nd gear. Other gears are fine.

the 2000 s80 t6 had trans problems check w/ your Volvo dealer there is a software update needed to done have the dealer check for all service bulletin on the car

Im assuming its a manual transmission. its the clutch.(not cheap) when stopped try to take off in third or fourth gear.if you can then it is the clutch.

sounds like your clutch is wearing out, have a mechanic test drive it for you, he or she will be able to diagnose it for you. good luck.
