I delete them all now, they slow your computer down, even though they say they help connect you to the site, but they have hidden things in them: like reporting on what you go to on the web, how often your on, some even report things like your account numbers.

Every time you visit a website cookies are added to your computer so that the particular sites will know how often they're being visited, etc. Cookies are harmless but they fill up your c disk very quickly and can easily be deleted. Simply go to the START menu, then RUN, then type in CLEANMGR to determine how much space can be safely removed. CHECK what you feel comfortable with and click OK.
This is only one way to help with this problem but there are others. You can also contact your Internet provider and have them take care of the problem remotely. I hope this helps.

Cookies are a file that websites have that are stored on your computer. they help you retrieve the site quicker, sometimes remember your password, and prefrences. I am not too sure on how to read the info in one because I delete all mine. You dont really need them and they tend to take up a lot of space if you dont clean them out regularly.
