Im kind of "tomboy-ish" and, I have been wearing sports bras ever since i can remember and lately i have been thinking that alll women dont do this.
So i was wondering how would I go about buying a "real" bra?
something besides a sports bra.
I have worn & gotten real bras before but it was only when i was going to be wearing a dress or some kind of dressy shirt.
the ones i got then didnt seem right to me, they made my chest look pointy :) lol and i dont like that.
plz help....

Go to a store like Victoria's Secret. Talk to the sale lady and ask her the same questions. They have many types and styles of bras. They sell Tee Shirt bras and other bras that are not fru fru. But still look pretty and are sexy. Let them measure you for a proper bra fit. Being a "Tom Boy" doesn't mean that you can't wear bras that make you feel good about yourself! They have bras that come in great colors and patterns. Buy a matching bra and pantie. Don't think of only black or white. Go and have fun buying your bra. Take a good friend with you and have fun. Even if the friend is male. Have fun!

60%–80% of women wear the wrong bra size… are you one?...

1.- Measure very snugly around your rib cage, just underneath your breasts. It should feel tight. Be sure that the tape
measure lies straight all the way around.

Add 5" to your rib cage measurement, then round to the nearest even number. The result is your bra size or band measurement. (32, 34, 36, etc....)

2.- Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape measure straight all the way around your body. Round this measurement to the nearest whole number.

3.- Subtract your bra size (band measurement) in step 1 from the bust measurement in step 2.

The difference between the two determines your cup size.

1" = A
2" = B
3" = C
4" = D
5" = DD

It can be difficult to measure yourself, the process itself is not an exact science. If you have trouble and think you are not getting your correct size, get professionally fitted.

Many major department stores have professionals trained to fit and size on staff.

There are a very nice variety of Bras for all sizes once you know your real size…

You should go to a professional place like Victoria's Secret, where they can measure you and pick out different styles to try on that they recommend.
