I use the "Conair" brand electric razor for women. The package said to try it for at least a month because your skin has to adjust. I did and I'm glad! My legs are just as smooth as with a razor and no razor burn!

I bought it at Walgreens for about $20.

I have terribly coarse hair on my legs, and electric razors to not seem to work for me, but I have a friend who has a ConAir machine that sort of sands/exfoliates the hair off, and it works well for her. She has super sensitive skin and cannot use most razors, but this is surprisingly more gentle. Another bonus is she does not have to do it as often as most people shave.

I am not sure what it is called though.

Guys don't like stubble on gals legs. It turns me off. Why not get some 'Nair' & be done with it . . .
