Hey, im just a clueless teen and pretty much all my friends who are in a relationship(long-term) wants to get married.. im in a long term relationship myself.. but kinda questioning about settling at a young age.. so what makes you guys know you want to marry a girl? and girls what makes you wanna marry a guy? in details. for example if the guy has a job, love, big feet? stuff like that iguess

I married my husband because we had the same values, morals, and thoughts on how to raise a family together. I dated him over three years, and have been married three. It's been rough at times, but we overcome those challenges together. I settled at 20, but I was ready to give up partying and ready to have a career, a home, and a husband. No kids yet, but hell, I'm only 23, I can't have kids yet! I suggest waiting until you know that he is the one that you want to spend everyday with, and that you are ready to put his needs ahead of yours. It's not crazy, it actually makes our lives easier doing things for each other. His needs are more important than mine because I make them a priority. Don't get married right away, wait until you know it's the one!

As a gal, I think waiting past the teen years is best for wanting to get married. If my man has a job, can support us on it, and possibly a child or two, plus, if we are really good friends, spend a lot of time together, get along really well, have fun together, work on our relationship where we need to, and do okay together, that is what makes me want to be married to him. If I love my best friend, the man I am dating, of course, I'd want to spend the rest of my life with him.
