well i dont listen to much rap, hardly any actually. But i do like the beat to Will Smith's song Switch. I think its also the best . I am a major Will Smith fan.

Anything Tupac, Snoop and Dre's Still D.R.E. off the top of my head. Tupac had some of the best diss tracks. And a good song isn't a one hit wonder occurence if u ask me. Also I believe these qualify as rap, not hip hop. Big difference.

"temperature" by sean paul. that is one infecting beat.
"can't touch this" by MC hammer is the best over all though. it is a classic.
