The founding of the Amerikan Nation was founded by a handful of European Anglo- wealthy capitalists. Most of them slave owners themselves. They drew the color line, and created "Race". Made the Caucsian superior to any other "Race"Throught out history there were laws that for generations tha kept colored people separate and without rights, misrepresented. Just 40 years ago these laws were abolished. And colored people are still being put in jail, the new form of slavery. The majority population in Amerika are Caucasian, more than 60%. Since their forefathers they have maintained their control of property and wealth. The founding fathers did not include Natives, Blacks or women in their constitution.

I've had to work my a.ss off to get where I am today so what privileges could you be talking about? Nobody said life was supposed to be easy. Yes I agree that sometimes people of colour aren't treated very fairly but that doesn't mean give up and let hate engulf you..it means try harder, get to where you want to be and then laugh at the fools who tried to stop you. I'll tell you something, you wouldn't want to have lived my life!! I'm happily married with two children, just bought a house and have a great job but I went through hell and back to get these things. I got them because I never gave up. Have a look around the area I grew up in, see what i came from and THEN tell me I'm privileged!

I don't deny it. I just don't think about it.

Once, I went to a club with a guy I was working with. He happened to be black, and he took me to a RnB club, where the majority of the people were black as well. He told me :"So, how does it feel to be the minority?!" He wasn''t doing it in a mean way, by the way. But I have to admit I actually hadn't even thought it!

It's just sad that people are prejudiced against because of their colour. I think most white people don't even realize it.

Well, for one I can spell the word "privilege". After that, I have no idea whatsoever what you are talking about. So, that would be another privilege... I know how to communicate my ideas and thoughts somewhat intelligently. And you? Apparently not !!!

"White privilege?" That's a new one on me. I've never heard of this. I've received no privileges based on my skin color, nor would I want to. To favor a person solely on skin color is still racism. Racism is wrong, any way you slice it.
