Your top half of your team on hitting looks awsome. YOUR OF needs a lot of work. I would possibly try to trade your pitching for some OF help I would outright drop Lofton, Lowell, Johnson and Carroll and maybe pick up some young hitters. (chris young, Alex Gordon, Mark Tehran, Ryan Shelly).

On the pitching side you look really strong. You want want to pick up an extra closer in (Tankersley, Torress, maybe dotel if he is available, and keep an eye out who wins the job in Tampa (good for 20 saves) Wickman will lose his job sooner or later so I would also look at putting as back up Closers in the wings. Brian Wilson(sf) Joel Zumaya(det) and R Soriano(atl)

I give your tema right now a 6.5 outta 10. You may make it to the playoffs but your hopes are slim makeing it farther than that. Upgrade your OF desperately

Based on you having 14 teams in your league, you look pretty solid. I do have some suggestions/concerns, though. This is just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

Your infield is solid with only a small question mark on Encarnacion, only because he's unproven.
Your outfield could use some improvement in the power hitter type. Drew has spent time on the DL EVERY season of his career. Expect a plan B for him. Taveras is a good pick at CF, well done.
I am VERY concerned with you having Polanco as your utility hitter, though. Unless it's Utley, you have no reason to have a 2B as your DH.
Your bench will cover you if you have someone land on the DL.

Your starting pitching staff is pretty good. I don't like Penny and Duke on your team. I think Penny is not going to do much. Duke will be going against other teams' aces (Read as: Smoltz, Oswalt, Johnson, Zito, Schmidt, etc...). How many of those matchups do you really think he will win? Anibal Sanchez is the sleeper gem of your team. WELL PICKED!!!

You should look into getting another closer. Most teams carry three closing pitchers and, in order to keep up, you're going to need three as well.

As I said before, I think you did a great job considering you're in a 14-team league and these are just my opinions. Good luck to you this season.

Take Anibal Sanchez off of the Bench and you've got an 8.
