Is it normal during pregnancy to experience some tenderness in the lower abdomen. Ive been checked for ectopic pregnancy and got the all clear. What is the pain??

All those lovely hormones stretching out your ligaments and muscles in preparation for having this huge amount of weight added to your frontal half!!I know it's scary and uncomfortable, but trust me, it's normal...just wait until you feel the baby kick...WOW!

It sounds like it's 'round ligament pain'. I had it really badly with both of my pregnancies. It's just your body preparing for the changes it's about to endure.

Yes because all those muscles are stretching and everything is moving around. Sometimes I swear it feels like I did 1000 sit ups or something. As long as you keep in touch with your doctor and they are keeping a watch on things I wouldn't worry.

Could just be cramping caused by the ligaments. This is usually one of my first signs of pregnancy.
