Hi there! We are going down to Florida in April and have rented a 4 bedroom/ 3 bath pool home thru www.justfloridavacations.com. I have done a lot of research on this company and everything seems great with them, Even had my mom who lives down in Kissimmee go check out the address of the home we rented and she said it's gorgeous! All of their homes are within 1-5 miles from Disney and even a few houses have game rooms for the little ones, small kiddie pool and a hot tub (heated free of charge) Their prices are very reasonable. They are registered with the Florida Better Business Bureau. Also the homes you see on their website is the actual home you get. Some places who rent out their homes show pictures of a house and it only "represents" the home you will be getting. If there’s anything else you would like to know feel free to send me an email. Good luck!!!

Hi there! I can give you LOADS of tips and advice! First thing is congrats on pickin Florida and being able to go!!! You'll love it!! I would recommend Emerald Island or Formosa Gardens for Villas, they are both lovely communities, very safe and gorgeous houses!!! They are both about ten mins drive from disney andabout 20 mins to sea world and universal. It does depend on what size you need but we stayed at emerald sunset at Emerald Island last October and it was an amazing villa. They have their own website so you can have a look. Just do google searches for emerald island villas or formosa gardens!
I would also recommend Dollar car rentals. They are a very well known company and have always been very efficient and reasonably priced for us. If you haven't booked your flights yet, look into Travelcitydirect.com, they are a really good company, they fly from London and Manchester and can incorporate car hire and theme park tickets as well as villas all in one. The only problem is they dont tell you where your villa is so it could be as much as half an hour away from disney and main attractions.
My advice would be to book flydrive with travel city and book your own villa direct from the owner or a rental company. There are thousands of villas to choose from, we spent 2 full days online last year trying to find the perfect one for us. Travel agents also dont tell you what resort your villa is in or where exactly it will be! They all say near disney, but that could mean anywhere! Your definately better off looking on the net at the photos of the villas themselves. You wanna be as close to Highway 192 as possible, its the road that takes you direct to disney and its where all the supermarkets and restaurants are.
DO NOT stay on International drive, its full of chavs!!! And very unclassy british ppl in general! Its the only tacky place around disney.
I would say get the disney ultimate tickets also! They are well worth the money!
Have gone on long enough, if you want any tips or info just email me.

There are thousands of villas so I can understand your difficulty. Consider a company that has a base in the UK and Florida. Then you can talk to them on the phone. They will advise you of the best resort for your particular needs.
In fact, its all pretty easy. Our company has been renting villas in Florida for years and we've got it pretty much ironed out. We specifically cater for small groups with kids and as well as providing really nice villas that are equipped for the little ones, we also can sort out flights and car rental though our bonded partners.
Look for web sites that have articles on how to get the best from your Disney vacation rather than just bland listings of villas. These are the people that will give you good advice.

If you are specifically interested in Disney you should consider a Disney Vacation Club Resort (aka. Home Away From Home Resort). You do not have to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to stay at one of the villas, however the Disney Vacation Club is a great investment that would benefit you in the long term for future vacations to any Disney Vacation Club property around the world. For example, the Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has beautifull villas ranging in sizes of studio size (smallest), one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom grand villas. If you are interested in staying at any of these resorts as a standard guest visit the official Walt Disney World website at:
http://www.disneyworld.com
If you are interested in the Disney Vacation Club visit thier official website:

i would not stay everywhere however the places listed via NOLA guy...the two Disney or the independently owned hotels on Disney belongings. outdoors hotels would promise holiday provider although this is outsourced. this implies lacking night shows, being stranded, arriving after beginning time, etc. No hotel era would be handy to all the parks yet for the reason that Disney is extra effective you will likely spend extra time there. that's an entire hotel with amazing inner transportation. base line...a million) what NOLA guy mentioned, and 2) Transportation isn't the placement to purpose and shop money.

My family and I recently went to Fantasy Club Villa and it is beautiful. We got a new room because we couldn't stay in one with dust or mold because of my lil' brother's athsma (poor kid!). Kissimee/Orlando border, pretty private. Heated swimming pool and family activities on Sunday. It was so much fun! Check out the website: www.fantasyworldvillas.com
