I guess that you have seen the American Pie movies. My question is the party in the college or in the university are like in the movies, everybody get drunk and that stuff??? please answer this I'm thinking moving there

I haven't seen those movies, but not all college parties or get-togethers are about getting drunk and stuff. I never drank at all in college, and I'm sure a lot of other people don't either. It depends on what college you go to.

I go to Florida State University which is one of the biggest party schools...and American Pie, though slightly exaggerated, is basically accurate. Parties (frat parties in particular) are just people getting completely wasted, high, and/or hooking up like crazy.

Not all are like that and to that extreme. Colleges do have their Frat parties and things like that but not to the extreme the American Pie Movies go.

Depends on the college. More often at a state university rather than a private Christian college, for instance. You can drink yourself to death right where you are, why waste the tuition and travel money?

Drinking is a huge part of the American culture, but there are just as many people that don't partake in it. Except it makes for better entertainment to see a bunch of teens acting like idiots in the movies, than it does for a bunch of just regular teens. So- a message to ALL who live outside the USA.

Some schools have more of a "party" reputation than others. But, the movies are only "movies". Real life is rarely that extreme or bizarre.
